It's a busy week for exhibition openings. This Thursday 26th May, 'Then and Now' opens in the Hunt Museum Limerick. This shows new work by Limerick Ceramic Artists (and Tipperary!) inspired by the Hunt Collection. The work will be exhibited beside the original objects. The exhibition opens at 6pm, but continues until the Autumn, so plenty of time to catch it.

Sunday 29th May sees the opening of transFORM, an exhibition of 32 ceramists celebrating creativity, design and skill presented by Ceramics Ireland. This takes place in the beautiful Farmleigh Gallery, Phoenix Park, Dublin from 2.30pm - 4.30pm. The exhibition runs until the 24th July 2011. It will then travel to the Millennium Court Arts Centre, Portadown, Co. Armagh from 12th August - 24th September 2011 and finally to the Church Gallery, Limerick School of Art and Design (LIT), Clare St, Limerick from 2nd - 24th November 2011, so no excuse to miss this major exhibition of Irish Ceramics!

On the same day in Farmleigh, Irish Craft Portfolio 2011 will open following a successful run at the National Craft Gallery in Kilkenny.
